BK Wines 2021 Gin Gin Chardonnay

The Gin Gin Chardonnay from Brendan Keys is one of four single vineyard Adelaide Hills Chardonnays, all made the same way, with site and terroir the only variables.

GinGin is not our post 5pm drinks order but a famous clone of Chardonnay, named after a small town north of Perth, and the clone responsible for many of Margaret River's most expensive wines.

Better value in Adelaide Hills in BK's hands perhaps, as this Piccadilly-sourced wine is full of initial lime and citrus bounce, some alpine florals and flows seamlessly into a nutty, butterscotchy finish that elevates it into a Chardonnay of gravitas.

Australian Consumer Law details that we are not obligated to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind.  Please choose carefully.  Lion Wine Room acknowledges that on the rare occasion wines can be “faulty”.  If a wine is TCA (corked) or oxidised, we are happy to replace the wine with current vintage.  Always retain your receipt as proof of purchase, is required and we expect the returned bottle to be ¾ full.  Our professional staff will make an assessment of the wine to determine the actual fault, as our suppliers, distributors and winery partners ask for this information, so please don’t be offended.
