The Domaine Du Clos De Tart 2021 Grand Cru Monopole is a highly-rated, age-worthy red Burgundy known for its elegance, freshness, and complex layers of red fruit, spice, and mineral notes. It is produced from a single, historic vineyard (monopole) in Morey-Saint-Denis.

• Nose: The bouquet is fragrant and open, featuring aromas of brambly red fruit, crushed stone, wilted rose flowers, black cherry, raspberry, orange zest, and sweet spices.
• Palate: It is medium to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, well-judged acidity, and a saline, persistent finish. Flavors include soft red berries, black plum, cranberry, and pomegranate, with touches of cocoa, clove, and graphite.
• Expert Opinion: Neal Martin of Vinous rated it between 95-97 points, noting it grows in the glass and, while perhaps not in the same class as the previous vintage, is a commendable showing. Decanter's Charles Curtis MW praised its "lovely ripe, expressive mulberry and pomegranate fruit" and "silky precision".
• Ageing Potential: This is a wine built to age, with a potential drinking window of 25-30 years, according to Vinous.
